The practice runs a computerised appointment system and you are able to book an appointment with a doctor 4 weeks in advance and 6 weeks in advance with a nurse.
Doctor’s appointments are arranged to offer as flexible an arrangement as possible with half of all doctor’s appointments reserved for book-on-the-day and half available to book in advance.
You can also book an appointment by:
- Use your NHS account (on the NHS website or in the NHS app)
- Telephone us on 01946 693660 , Monday to Friday, between 8.00am and 6.30pm
- Visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist, Monday to Friday, between 8.00am and 6.30pm
If you are running late for an appointment
Please help us and other patients by letting us know as soon as you realise you will be late, we cannot guarantee that you will still be seen, but small adjustments to clinics can sometimes be made.
If you cannot attend your appointment
It is really helpful if you inform us as soon as you know you can no longer attend your appointment to enable re-allocation of your appointment slot. You can do this via the NHS App or by calling the surgery.
Telephone consultations
Should you wish to talk to one of our GPs then please inform one of our reception team and they will gladly pass on your request.
Home visits
The practice offers home visits when necessary for housebound patients and those who are too ill to come down to surgery.
It is helpful if you can provide time for the doctors to plan their visits for the day and telephone the surgery before 10.30am, whenever possible.
The receptionist will ask you if you are able to come to the surgery, as the facilities are better at the surgery than at home, and as all requests for visits will be assessed by the GP on the day for their degree of urgency, the receptionist will also ask for brief details about the reason for the visit.
Anything you tell the receptionist will be treated in confidence.
